Flower Size is about 2 to 2.5 inches. VERY dark burgundy/wine color. Almost Black. These are deciduous plants that lose most or all of their leaves in the fall after blooming. So if you order one in the winter it will only have bulbs and few if any leaves. New growths come up again in the spring.
